Data Governance, Privacy Protections, and Processing Standards
iBooth Events is a private operational platform designed to assist organizations in managing their field logistics and internal staff coordination. We value the privacy of our Users and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of data protection. This Privacy Policy outlines how we process data and reaffirms the independent, non-governmental nature of our service. This application is a private tool and does not share data with any government bodies or election commissions.
In the context of iBooth Events, it is crucial to understand the legal roles: The **User** (the organization or individual creating the event) is the **Data Controller**. Arist Technolab (the developers) acts strictly as the **Data Processor**. As the Data Controller, the User has total authority over what information is uploaded, how it is categorized, and who is permitted to access it. Management does not access, utilize, or verify the specific lists uploaded by the User for its own commercial or operational purposes.
While using iBooth Events, the following categories of data are managed within the User’s private and encrypted database silo:
In accordance with Google Play developer policies, iBooth Events explicitly declares that it does not provide official government information. All data within the platform is privately curated and managed by the User organization. We do not pull data from government APIs or state databases. For the official source of government election information, voter registration, or polling services, please visit the official government portal: https://elections.tn.gov.in/. Our system is an independent tool for team coordination and is not a substitute for official government information.
To ensure the confidentiality of your private operational data, iBooth Events employs industry-standard AES-256 bit encryption for data at rest. All data in transit between the mobile application and our servers is protected via SSL/TLS encryption. Access to booth-level data is strictly controlled through a hierarchical permission system managed by the User. Management cannot be held responsible for data breaches resulting from the User’s failure to secure their own login credentials or the misuse of permissions by the User’s invited agents.
Management maintains a strict non-disclosure policy. We do not sell, lease, or trade your internal logistics data or campaign statistics to third-party marketing firms, rival entities, or data brokers. Your operational data remains your exclusive property. We may only disclose data if legally compelled by a valid court order or a government subpoena issued by a court of competent jurisdiction investigating suspected illegal activities.
We retain data only for as long as the User’s account and associated "Events" are active. Users have the ability to purge their own data at any time. Once an event or account is deleted by the User, all associated records are permanently purged from our active databases and cannot be recovered. Management reserves the right to archive and then permanently delete data from "Inactive" accounts after 12 months of non-use to ensure the privacy of the individuals listed in the User’s private database.
As the Data Controller, the User is responsible for managing any requests from individuals (data subjects) who wish to access, correct, or delete their personal information from the User's private database. iBooth Events provides the necessary tools within the "Management Dashboard" to allow Users to fulfill these requests. Management does not interact with the individuals listed in a User's database.
